Taken By The Hitman by Alexis Abbott
Out of the darkest evil will come the strongest love.
I've never met a woman like her. Damaged, just like me, but with a clever mind that she knows is a dangerous weapon, and curves for days. Every second I spend with her, it becomes clearer: it's us against the world.
The Bratva want me to break her. They force me to try, but they made a dangerous mistake. She has a part of my soul now, and I have a part of hers. I'm a bad man, but I'm going to do right by her. I'm going to prove to her that even in the darkness, there's always something worth fighting for.
I’ll kill them all for her. When it’s all over, and she doesn’t need me for revenge anymore, we won't be able to walk away from our love. She’s been taken by the hitman, and I won’t let her go.
A full length Standalone Romantic Suspense novel. No Cliffhangers. Safe from cheating. Dark romance. Explicit language & swearing.

Every time I pick up
one of Alexis Abbott's novel I'm constantly surprised at how realistic her
stories are. They don't sugar coat the reality of the lifestyle that is depicted,
the feelings are strong and almost tangible, and there's a great balance
between the romance and the action. Konstantin was a traitor to the Bratva and
managed to find himself back in their good graces while in jail, which give him
the opportunity to become the leader of the Brighton Beach area in the United
States. Wanting to destroy the Bratva's sex slave industry to make it grand
once again, the last thing he ever expected was to come across Rosie, the just
turned 18 year old who has the weight of the world on her shoulder and lives
through one of the worst pains in her lifetime - betrayal at the hands of her
father.
My heart
broke as I read how Rosie and Konstantin first met - never would I have thought
her father capable of such cruel actions. She's had to grow up so fast after
the death of her mother and with reason. On the upside, Konstantin happens to
want the best for her, instantly regretting that they couldn't have met under
better circumstances. As tentative and slow as he tried to take the
relationship so that Rosie could learn to trust him, there wasn't a shortness
of chemistry between them that made their 'hook ups' decadent amidst all the
danger they face. Taken By The Hitman by Alexis Abbott was an absolute treat
and I can't wait to read more from her.
