Mirror, mirror, on the wall...

Taylor Hathaway--Mitus Conglomerate's sweet, timid event planner--has always played it safe. But when forced into the spotlight at a DC fundraiser and auctioned off to a gorgeous stranger from out of town, she makes a bold choice. No strings. No regrets. And very little sleep...

Hospitality Magnate Jagger Loving--sexy, bad boy of Loving Resorts--offers everything from exotic to erotic at his luxurious, couples-only properties. Days before the launch of his first US-based hotel, a sudden setback throws his world into chaos and the grand opening promises to be a colossal flop. In walks his short-term fix...the strikingly beautiful Taylor Hathaway. But he knows her as Raven. And that's not all he remembers about her.

Thrust together, they can't deny their powerful attraction. While Jagger is forced to confront past sins to save his empire, Taylor must conquer a lifetime of insecurities to ensure he succeeds. Everything hinges on trust...and the obstacles each must overcome to prove their love is eternal.

***Author's Note*** THE LOVING TOUCH, Book Three of The Touch Series, is a Novella.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So far, i've read every single instalment to Stoni Alexander's The Touch series, and i have to say that The Loving Touch was my favorite [wait.... did i say that to the previous book??! I sure hope so, otherwise this is a bit embarassing] ANYWAYS!!! So far, at the current moment, until she writes another book and i find that that one is my favorite, The Loving Touch is her best.

I got into this book as though i was eating cake, and i LOVE to eat cake. I mean, breakfast of champions, right? *seriously, i need to stay on topic* so let's start this again. Why was it my favorite? Or rather, is? Because at one point or another, we've ALL had an alter ego. Mine? Katrionaie Lemay - that girl is all unicorns and candies and doesn't really have a care in the world. She obviously doesn't get to come out and play like Taylor's Raven alter ego, but still. So Raven? Well, she is definitely more outgoing and full of surprises; something that responsible Taylor can't let herself do. Her one night that gives herself to spend with Jagger, yeah... nice!!!!

I loved how i got to catch up with previous characters i met in past instalments of the books, i enjoyed how this author made things quite believable and her characters likeable. Lately, it's become easier to dislike characters or parts of a book, but i found myself liking many things about it - how the characters are real, how they have their own hold ups, how they will work hard (rather than the spoiled rich people they could potentially be), but most of all, i liked how Stoni Alexander branched out of the Mitus family and incorporated friends and co workers without making it feel as though it had nothing to do with the first two books.

Will i read more of this series? Absolutely. I'm way too curious to find out what's to happen with the rest of this group and can't wait to find out what else happens to them!
