What Could've Been 'Us' In Another Tiem & Place by Cassandra Magnussen

Sometimes you meet people who you would never expect to feel emotions for. Sometimes it starts off as a platonic relationship, then before you know it, a thunderbolt hits and a connection sparks from a dark place bringing you closer to the other person.
Sometimes this person changes everything you thought you knew; they make you feel things you never thought you could or deserved to feel. Sometimes this person comes in and flips your entire world upside down.
Then again, sometimes people are too stubborn to admit their feelings and eventually admit them when it’s too late.
However, once in a while, you have to accept that maybe there is a reason why you can’t get this person out of your head regardless of how long it’s been since you’ve seen them because, maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be.
What would happen if you got a second chance with the person who stayed in your heart for years?
Do you store away your feelings thinking there’s no point, or do you take a chance and risk it all because?
Maybe it’s not too late.
This is Aurora and Nicholas’s story.

Title: Would Could've Been In Another Time And Place
Author: Cassandra Magnussen

What a great debut novel for Cassandra Magnussen! I didn't know what to expect when i started this book and the emotional pull as i read along Aurora and Nicholas' story was one of the last things i expected. It was a book that resonated with me in more ways than one since the 'what if' game is probably the one unintentional thing i do more often than not. It's the one that sometimes keeps me glued to my spot as i think back on my memories and the feelings of them not being a closed chapter more than a reality - it's a truth.

I felt connected to these characters, to their struggles, to the obstacles they face, but most of all, to the attraction that can't be ignored, even after many years apart. This is the kind of book that will make you believe that second chances can happen when you least expect it. I couldn't get enough of how Cassandra Magnussen brought her book to life and how her characters feel so realistic. I can't wait to keep following this series in the future to not only catch up with Aurora and Nicholas, but to meet new characters and fall in love with them as well.
