Pure White Rose by Fawn Bailey
"I will punish you for every step you take away from me."
She's finally mine, but she won't admit it.
My little rose thinks she can still run away from me.
She should know better by now.
I'm ready to do whatever it takes to stop her from getting away.
Hurt her. She'll have the bruises to show for it.
F*ck her. Until she never wants another man.
Punish her. Make her crave my whip, my belt and my toys.
The only thing I won't do...
Is love her.
Reading order for Rose and Thorn:
Blush Pink Rose (FREE prequel)
Blood Red Rose (Book 1)
Pure White Rose (Book 2)
Last Broken Rose (Book 3)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I've
always been and will probably always be a fan of Fawn Bailey's (AKA
Isabella Starling). She has a way of not really caring what anyone
thinks when she's writing and can write some of the darkest novels out
there and i love it. I've had the chance to appreciate dark novels
because they make you think - they truly make you see just how far the
human body and psyche will endure to survive. To live. To love. And
especially, to grow. Because let's face it, when you come in front of a
situation that takes you out of your comfort zone, you have two choices:
lay down and surrender (and probably die), or get back up and grow
stronger.
This
is exactly what happens with Rose. This girl was taken away from her
dreams and kidnapped , then forced to become the woman she never thought
she'd become, even enjoying some things that were way out of her level
of comprehension. No, this woman isn't stupid; nor is she sheltered -
Rose has seen things that i doubt many have seen in her short life, but
there's just something about her that makes you pay attention. She's
focused and driven. But most of all, what she is, is innocent. She sees
the good in people that really, shouldn't be redeemable. Whether or not
she keeps that innocence is still up for debate since this author
doesn't spare this girl when it comes to her affair with Thorn.
Are
these two meant for one another? I honestly can't say yes or no because
there is just so many factors and people trying to tear them apart.
Should they be together? Again, i have no idea... mostly because if
things were different, i highly doubt they'd ever be together in the
first place. But are they good for one another? Boy do i hope so...
because the girl that Rose used to be is so much more than just a ballet
dancer and Thorn more than just the man that kidnaps women to make a
profit off the sale of the perfect slave.
I'm
more than a little curious to find out what and how Fawn Bailey will
end her trilogy, because for certain, i've become more than a little
invested in this couple and can't wait to find out just how their
'forbidden' love will end.
