Ryan is one of those authors that you have to read her books because
they are absolutely unexpected. The kind of book that can go one way or
another because she'll take a subject that readers have probably seen
more than once and then make it new. That's XO, Zach. The subject of a
teacher-student romance isn't a new one for me - honestly, it's amongst
some of my favorite forbidden romances that exists for the obvious
reasons.
What
this author did was make the story engaging, hilairous and so very
delicious - what woman wouldn't love passionate poems written just for
them? Unless they're stalkers, but Zach is far from that. And his
mother! My goodness! I though mine was bad when she gets it in her head
that i need to know more about her sexual life than i actually want to,
but nothing compares to his mother! I was in stitches more often than
not. XO, Zach is the unexpected story that you really do need to read at
least once in your life!
