I am selfish. Spoiled. A single father.
I do what I want because I can.
One of my four sons is dating the hot, young little neighbor…
Too bad it won’t last long.
When I want something, I take it—even if it means taking from my son.
My name is Eric Pearson.
I am an unapologetic, egotistical, domineering man.
People may not like me, but it doesn’t stop them from wanting me.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My goodness. I don't say this often, but it really needs to be said when it comes to this book. Eric Pearson is a first class asshole. And i'm saying this even after reading this book. I mean, rarely do i think this of characters and getting their sides of the story, but holy crap, this was insane. I wish there was something else i could say about this guy, but sighing and screaming out in frustration 'asshole' is just too fitting. This guy seriously doesn't care what anyone else thinks, not when it comes to his sons, his family, his co workers, and especially not Jax Wheeler. He'll go to any lengths to get what he wants and if it hurts or angers anyone, well, the huge 'f you' is not far from their opinions.

K Webster did an amazing job at taking this character and seriously making him exactly as the previous books described him to be. I'm floored because i would have thought that he would have had a specific reason to be the way he is, but he doesn't. It's just Eric Pearson. Just the way that he is. I wish i could be disappointed in this fact, but in a way, i'm not, because for once, there's no apology by this character for the way that he is, and he doesn't hide the fact that he wants what he wants and the rest will either fall into place or they can leave.

I literally flew through this book like it was a movie. Started it one afternoon and less than 2 hours later i was done. It was that good. It's blunt, it's obscene, and it's a thrill from start to finish. Yeah. I seriously can't get enough of K Webster's books and this Four Fathers series is absolutely something to behold, even if they are written by four individual authors from various backgrounds. I'm really looking forward to reading Jax Wheeler's story because, yeah. This guy is surely to be something to behold if he can hold his own against Eric Pearson for the sake of his daughter.
