I didn't begin writing until after undergraduate college. There'd been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can't blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I'm hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.

My first taste of what Tijan has to offer is an experience that I will not soon forget. She has a way with words that makes the words and scenes pop right out from the pages so that I can clearly see everything unfold as I read along. Cole is a mafia genre novel (one of my favourite types) telling the story of Addison, a widow grieving deeply for the man she had given her heart to when she meets Cole at different moments in her life. Each encounter left her breathless and more affected than she could have ever imagined, and the man still a mystery to her no matter how hard she tried to know more about him.

  



I loved watching these two try to discover their hidden secrets - needless to say that Addison's sadness was something that both she and Cold had to contend and deal with as they became more involved with one another. The mystery that surrounded Cole, undeniably, had me questioning if trust, complete and utter trust, was possible. I was at the edge of my seat from the very beginning and for certain, Cole won't be the last novel I'll be reading from Tijan.
